Architecture-Lunar Base 2002 workshop held
June 10-21,2002 in Nordwijk , The Netherlands.
This was a "student workshop for design of
extra-terrestrial bases for human settlement of
the Moon. The workshop aimed to inspire, engage
and challenge European students to create design
concepts for Lunar Bases for our return to the
Moon."

to the Moon Symposium III 2002 - July 18-20,
Houston, Texas. Space Frontiers sponsored meeting
to create a "baseline design for the lunar
base, propose a time line and begin building an
organizational and information infrastructure
that can effectively drive the project to a successful
conclusion: the establishment of the first permanent
lunar settlemeny."
Collaboration of the state of Hawaii, Japan
and others to develop and test "innovative
technologies to support future robotic and manned
exploration of the Moon and Mars"

in Poland on the design of a Mars base using
inflatable structures. It's not been translated
