Dick Stafford spots a bunch of interesting photos on the Flickr: RocketRacingLeague's Photostream. Mostly pictures of the Armadillo propulsion system mounted on a Rocket Racer vehicle. There are a couple of photos of the XCOR Rocket Racer taking off.

In his recent update, John Carmack said they had been "working hard on the Rocket Racer program and making good progress" but RRL wanted to control the release of all RR related info. Same has been true for XCOR. That seems reasonable since RRL is paying the bills but I wish they would keep the RRL website up-to-date and active. Much of the stuff is one or two years old, e.g. "Click here for pictures from the X PRIZE Cup 2006!" Attracting public interest in the League could start with a website that helps to build a core enthusiast constituency.
