WK2/SS2 test update

The WhiteKnightTwo/SpaceShipTwo duo is back out on the runway again this morning. Here are couple of items at twitter.com/mlaughlin:
/-- "WK2/SS2 on the ramp again this morning. Looks like they might go flying."
/-- "WK2/SS2 taxied by."

Update: Latest postings by Mike Laughlin:
/-- "Starship just took off. Chase plane?"
/-- "WK2/SS2 just took off. Starship close behind."

Update 2:30 pm ET: Scanners in Mojave have overheard the Scaled controller given the pilot permission to decide whether to release or not.

Update 4:00pm ET: Well, no drop test so far. Lauglin has now posted this:
/-- "Starship came in and refueled. taking off again."

Update 4:15pm ET: Latest word is that it was "go for release" and runway was cleared for landing.

Update 4:33pm ET: Oh well, they can try again tomorrow. Alan Boyle reports that "WK2 and SS2 still mated as they come in for a beautiful Mojave landing,"

Hang with Rutan you have the only program going with a future and a vision. So can the public view these flights? Last time I went to the cape it felt so depressing and old school I have no desire to return to that flying museum. Mohave is where its at.

You should be able to get a good view from Voyager Restaurant. Probably won't see the drop itself, but the taxis and landings definitely. Mojave Airport is very accessible if you don't mind the drive from LA.
