Virtual Universe: Using Light To Reveal The Darkness Featuring Eric Gawiser
WHAT
Virtual Universe: Using Light to Reveal the Darkness
Featuring Astrophysicist Eric Gawiser
The American Museum of Natural History presents Virtual Universe, the longest and most exhilarating trip a New Yorker can take without leaving the city.
In December, join astrophysicist Eric Gawiser in the Space Theater as he leads an adventure to the most distant stars and planets in search of dark matter in the cosmos. Step inside the world’s largest cosmic atlas and explore the skies from our solar neighborhood to the edges of the known universe.
Virtual Universe shows, on the first Tuesday of each month, are live and interactive, allowing for questions and spontaneous space travel through our solar system and beyond. The Museum invites all to take the journey of a lifetime.
