This video animation illustrates
what a flight on a Virgin
Galactic SpaceShip Two vehicle,
built by Burt Rutan's Scaled
Composites company, would be like as it travels
on a suborbital
space flight with 2 pilots and 6 passengers. The
White Knight Two carrier vehicle is nearing
completion and will begin test flights this summer.
The SS2 will begin drop tests in early 2009.
First test flights to space should happen later
in 2009 and first paying customer flights in 2010.
